Maryland — Maryland veterans cemetery pre-application for interment
January 2025 DVMF pre-application for Garrison Forest, Rocky Gap, Cheltenham, Crownsville, and Eastern Shore. Veterans have no Maryland residency requirement; Guard/Reserve must prove Maryland residency and pay a burial fee equal to the VA plot allowance at interment. Allow 4–6 weeks. Acceptance is not a gravesite reservation; final eligibility is at death.
Bring. Signed pre-application, DD-214. Guard/Reserve: NGB-22 or reserve discharge plus Maryland residency proof. Spouse: marriage license.
