No federal “veterans booster” payment — COLA is automatic
SSA announced a 3.6% COLA for 2027 on Oct. 14, 2026. VA disability, pension, and DIC match that percentage automatically. You do not register. VA.gov still publishes 2026 dollar tables until a new table posts — FortSource does not guess those dollars. Posts about a booster check or extra VA signup payment are scams. State cash bonuses (Massachusetts Welcome Home, Illinois War Participation, South Dakota) are separate state programs — pick your state. Report fraud at VSAFE.
